Tim has designed this 75-90 minute hallmark presentation specifically for intercollegiate student-athletes. The presentation begins with clips from popular film which highlights how a student-athlete could become involved with sports gambling and leads into the connection, and importance, of both sports and gambling in the United States.

Tim uses personal examples from his own life, stories from student gamblers, and inside information from bookmakers to explain why athletes may be targeted by sports gamblers to shave points, fix games, and provide gambling information. This presentation also explains why student-athletes may be prone to bet on sports and how their involvement can get out of control.

This presentation describes the continuum or slippery slope of sport gambling involvement and provides a list of warning signs indicating unsafe levels of participation. The presentation also details NCAA gambling policy, gambling regulations of that institution, and state and federal gambling laws.
